I was featured in this animal-based pregnancy film by Heart and Soil!

Last summer, Heart and Soil Supplements sent out their amazing film crew to my house to film for an animal-based pregnancy mini-documentary! I shared my stories of my nourished pregnancies alongside two other mothers while I prepared lamb hearts to marinade for my dear friend who was newly postpartum.

Side note: The recipe for the lamb heart stew I made is included in my Resilient Motherhood Recipe Collection!!

Well, they've finally finished producing the film and it’s now available to the public!

Ladies...I got goosebumps watching it. Go watch it now (just scroll down, I’ve embedded it here!)

If you ever needed a reason to prepare for pregnancy, this is it!!

A critical thing I’ll point out is that:

The nutritional status and state of health you’re in going into pregnancy has the greatest impact on the health of your pregnancy and pregnancy outcomes.

THIS is why I place such an emphasis on the preconception preparation period in my work and my course. You begin building the placenta in your first trimester out of stored nutrients that you had before conception. Changing your diet during pregnancy can only not help so much- taking preventative action leading up to pregnancy is key.
